Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I order custom lanyards?

A. The ordering process is simple and can start in a number of ways. First off, feel free to give us a call or send us an email with any questions about the product or your design. You can also use our Free Quote request form. In this form, you will specify the product and quantity you are interested in. Also include any and all art or design ideas. We will reply promptly with an exact price quote and a color proof which is a digital image of what your physical lanyard will look like.

Q. What is your minimum order?

A. Our minimum order quantity is 100. In certain rare situations, we can manufacture and sell orders of smaller quantities, but there is a below-minimum fee that often applies and the unit pricing is higher than that at quantity 100. Please contact us for additional details.

Q. How long does it take to get my lanyards?

A. Although every lanyard is a little different, since everything we make is 100% custom, our orders typically deliver 10-14 business days after you pay for your order. That said, if you require a quicker turnaround, we will make every effort to accommodate it.

Q. How many colors can I use in my design?

A. Each lanyard design allows you to choose one imprint or woven thread color at no additional charge. If your design requires more colors, we will happily add them for a small fee. For orders with very complex color schemes, we can even direct you to a different product type, like Dye Sublimated (Heat Transfer) lanyards, which allow for the use of unlimited colors, gradients, and photo reproduction.

Q. How do I pay for my order?

A. You can pay for your order online via credit card or by check. Production will begin as soon as your payment is received. Public institutions and hospitals also have the option of paying via Purchase Order. Purchase Orders are not accepted from private organizations, except on rare occasion with prior approval from a salesperson.

Q. Can I get my lanyards faster than the typical turnaround time?

A. Even though our standard turnaround times are some of the fastest in the industry, we understand that sometimes you need your lanyards even quicker than usual. As such, we work with all customers to understand their deadlines at the beginning of the quoting process. We can usually work with our production team to shave a few days off the delivery date. Like with all of our orders, we will ship your order as soon as it is complete via UPS Next Day Air.

Q. From what material are your lanyards made?

A. Imprinted Polyester, Imprinted Tube, Woven, and Dye Sublimated lanyards are all made from polyester. The weaving of the polyester, and therefore the appearance, is slightly different, though. Nylon lanyards are made from a high strength nylon, which also has the benefit of a slight sheen. We also offer more specialty and eco-conscious fabrics, such as lanyards made from recycled PET 1 plastic, the same plastic used in water bottles.

Q. Can I buy a lanyard that I see on your website?

A. Unfortunately, you cannot. One hundred percent of our production is custom. All of the lanyards on our website are examples of custom works that we’ve manufactured for current and previous clients. All of the design rights belong to those respective clients. We will not reproduce them without a client’s express permission. The samples on the website are for illustrative and inspirational purposes only. That said, we would be happy design and produce a design that perfectly represents your vision.

Q. What color can I get my lanyards in?

A. We offer 43 stock lanyard colors that cover a majority of the spectrum and are suitable for most purposes. That said, we can custom dye your lanyard in any color that you would like for a small fee. We use Pantone colors for our color matching system, since all monitors look slightly different, and we want to ensure that you are pleased with the final product.

Q. How long are your lanyards?

A. Unless otherwise requested, all of our lanyards are made from a piece of material 35" long, before they are sewn. We are happy to accommodate requests for custom lengths though. Please contact us, and we will be glad to get you a quote.
